Internet Marketing Business Tips – Pick Your Poison
It would have been a thing of joy if everything to do with online marketing business was cut and dried. Unfortunately it’s not. As a matter of fact, some areas could be as gray as the South’s uniforms during the Civil War. Sometimes, you will find it difficult making a certain decision and it’s a matter of choosing between the lesser of two evils. This internet marketing business tips article is going to give some examples of what I’m talking about in an effort to help you understand where I’m heading. Of course, sometimes you don’t have any option than to pick your poison.
Let’s begin with a very common issue that a lot of Internet marketers experience, regardless of whether they are creating their own products or promoting a company’s product. I’m talking about picking an affiliate marketing program. Two of the most common are Clickbank as well as PayDotCom. If you are thinking that any of these is perfect, think again.
For instance, with Clickbank you have the problem with the marketplace being so popular that many unethical marketers will go out of their way to cookie stuff as well as steal your commissions from you. This can sometimes make marketing products through Clickbank a challenge. With PayDotCom you need to collect your earnings from the creator of the product, whereas with Clickbank you get paid directly from the affiliate program itself and not external forces. If you think that’s not an issue? Then tell that to the folks who never received payments for their efforts.
What about just the problem of deciding whether to create your own products or selling an affiliate product? If you think either one is a walk in the park? Then think again. With affiliate marketing program, you are completely at the mercy of the product creator. If he decides to reduce your commission from 75% to 25% you don’t have a say. If he decides to cut the price of his product in half there is nothing you can do about that. You are finished. Only thing you can do is look for another product or better still promote multiple products.
And if you think product creation doesn’t have its own problem, think again. The time expenditure creating the product alone can be a pain in the neck. In the time it takes to create a massive 7 e-book package, you could have likely made $10,000 or more. And after you are done with the product and promote it, you don’t even know if it’s going to be a success. Talk about risk, I guess its almost in every facet of our life. With affiliate products, you have the option of choosing products that you are know sells well.
As online marketers, we pick our poison on a daily basis. At the end of that day, we can only hope that we have adequate antidotes to keep us out of the Internet marketing business morgue.
I hope you find this internet marketing business tips valuable.
To YOUR Success,
